FHR Town Hall 2019

Join us for our Town Hall meeting open to all members on June 10th! We will have two guest speakers (see more information below) speaking for 20min each and our Town Hall will start at 6:40pm. We will discuss club structure, communications, gear, volunteering, run leaders, committees, and event updates. We hope to see you there!
Tim Richardt, DPT and Michelle Boland, PhD, CSCS will speak on maximizing competitive running performance through workload management and supportive exercises for running biomechanics.
Discussion Topics include:
Taking advantage of your body type
Front side & Back side mechanics
Exercises to maximize hip extension and running mechanics
The use of the weight room as a supportive strategy
Michelle Boland, PhD, CSCS is currently the Director of Education at Pure Performance Training (Needham, MA). In her role as Director of Education she is responsible for developing a facility model and training principles, coordinating seminar events, staff education, and personal training for a variety of clientele. Michelle has a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, a master’s degree in Strength and Conditioning, and a PhD in Exercise Physiology. Michelle was previously a strength and conditioning coach at Northeastern University (Boston, MA).
Tim Richardt, DPT, CSCS is the owner of Richardt Performance and Rehabilitation, where he works with runners looking to decrease pain, move better, gain strength, and set PRs! He has been a competitive runner since 2002, is an avid mountaineer, and has mad ninja and nunchuk skills. He has a B.S. in Neuroscience, a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, and is an NSCA-Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He also has an Australian Shepherd puppy named Molly.
